Paradise on Earth

Who has not found the heaven below Will fail of it above.
It was a bright autumn morning; my mind was filled with wavering thoughts of meeting the love of my life after a couple of months. I stepped out of the airport dragging my bags and eyes hovering around to catch a glimpse of him. There I spotted him, standing in a crowd yet so different…. knowing him for six years and being married to him for two glorious years did not make the butterflies in my stomach stop ambling like the first date. Finally, I was with him inside the car being driven across one of the best scenic landscape in the world. The place was once referred as ‘Paradise on Earth’ and true to this definition, the beauty lay impregnated with pristine mountains, clear flowing crystal lakes and a plethora of flora and fauna that one reads only in romantic novels. With the love of my life by my side, the love for life and the zest to enjoy this vacation knew no bounds. All these factors contributed to making my trip to the Kashmir valley one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

The purpose of the trip was an amalgamation of vacation and spending my birthday with my hubby. It turned out to be the best of both.
